Plagiarism

Our journal is committed to upholding academic integrity and has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism screening process to ensure the originality of the written work.

  1. Screening Tool
Plagiarism screening will be conducted using Turnitin and/or PlagiarismCheckerX software.
  2. Screening Procedure
Similarity checks are performed at two stages:
  • Initial Stage: Every submitted paper will go through plagiarism checking in the initial screening process.
  • Final Stage: A repeat check is conducted before the paper is published in an issue.
  1. Similarity Tolerance Threshold and Consequences
  • The maximum acceptable similarity index threshold is 25%.
  • If a manuscript is found to have a similarity index exceeding 25%, it will be automatically rejected and will not proceed to the peer-review process. The corresponding author will be notified of this rejection via email.
  • Manuscripts proven to be plagiarized, regardless of the percentage, will be rejected.
  1. Authors' Responsibility
Authors must ensure that the submitted work is entirely original. Authors are strongly advised to check their manuscript using a plagiarism checker application prior to submission. If the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted.
  2. Retraction Policy
If plagiarism is detected post-publication, the article will be retracted according to the journal's Retraction Policy. Article Processing Charges (APCs), if applicable, are non-refundable in the case of retraction due to plagiarism.
