Plagiarism
Our journal is committed to upholding academic integrity and has a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism screening process to ensure the originality of the written work.
- Screening Tool
Plagiarism screening will be conducted using Turnitin and/or PlagiarismCheckerX software. - Screening Procedure
Similarity checks are performed at two stages:
- Initial Stage: Every submitted paper will go through plagiarism checking in the initial screening process.
- Final Stage: A repeat check is conducted before the paper is published in an issue.
- Similarity Tolerance Threshold and Consequences
- The maximum acceptable similarity index threshold is 25%.
- If a manuscript is found to have a similarity index exceeding 25%, it will be automatically rejected and will not proceed to the peer-review process. The corresponding author will be notified of this rejection via email.
- Manuscripts proven to be plagiarized, regardless of the percentage, will be rejected.
- Authors' Responsibility
Authors must ensure that the submitted work is entirely original. Authors are strongly advised to check their manuscript using a plagiarism checker application prior to submission. If the authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted. - Retraction Policy
If plagiarism is detected post-publication, the article will be retracted according to the journal's Retraction Policy. Article Processing Charges (APCs), if applicable, are non-refundable in the case of retraction due to plagiarism.
